Persistence

This is the ability to keep on trying to solve a problem even though it is difficult. It also describes the willingness to perform repetitive tasks without losing interest.

In most jobs, there are elements that can seem too challenging – and other elements that can quickly become boring. So, persistence is a useful skill for just about everyone.

If you have a tendency to give up when the going gets tough, try thinking of the reasons why it is important that a task is done properly. If persistence is a real problem for you, then perhaps you should look for a job that contains a lot of variety.
